This magnolia tree was full of plump buds about to welcome the spring.  They were quite early. Then there was a blast of freezing weather that came and froze all the buds.  I was very sad to see the spring bloom spoiled from the volatile weather. I wanted to record this moment. I'm not sure if it was a victim of climate change or just a fluke in the weather.  There is still a certain beauty in their frost bitten condition.
